LaStone is the original Stone Therapy educators and we have been training therapists for nearly 30 years.
It is our knowledge of how temperature affects the body and how to apply them to the clients benefit that makes our training the best available.
Client’s health and safety is paramount in our training and the treatments we teach. Correct temperature parameters for the stones and the most up to date sanitation methods to prevent cross contamination of pathogens are core modules within all our training.

Unlike "hot stone reflexology” LaStone uses alternating temperatures (heated basalt and cooled marble) to bring balance to the treatment. Because we understand temperature, we know how to take this knowledge and make the treatments you give even more profound.
The heated basalt is used to work the reflex areas, relaxing, and nurturing the feet. As the stones find areas of imbalance, they relay them to you like amplifiers. When areas of pain and inflammation are discovered then the cool is applied working along the reflex point to the area of the body affected.
As well as being an amazingly relaxing treatment, it is more comfortable for the client and takes all the strain out of the treatment for the therapist. This enables a longer career without injury from repetitive strain.
The stones are used in a completely different way than the thumbs and fingers in a traditional reflexology treatment, another way that we differ from other trainers. If you use small stones the same way as you would your hands you will in fact, be more liable to injure your body.
