Every month we will be offering a upskill on either a part of the body or how to use certain stones to their best advantage for the client, and of course you.

This will consist of an online course with theory and practical aspects. This will be a skill you can use as a stand-alone treatment or something you can include in your massage.

For the practical aspects you will have access to a video showing in detail what stones and temperature to use, and how to use them. You can view this as many times as you need. 

There will be accompanying anatomy and physiology to go along side the skills, plus core information on heating, cooling sanitation, etc.

We will also include marketing material so you can advertise the new skills and treatment.

This information will be available within your personal library, and you will have access 24/7 even if you leave the membership.

This section of the membership will look at an aspect of the more spiritual side of the treatments we give.

This will consist of a look at an aspect of LaStone or Stone Therapy which relates to the Mind, Body & Spirit trilogy of our treatments.

We have always maintained that to get the best from a LaStone treatment, or I think any treatment, you must remember you are not only treating the physical body but also the energy of the clients being.

We will try to cover many customs and civilisations, and I think you will be surprised as we are (constantly) how many overlap.  There is a universal consciousness that we all tap into. They may be called different names, but many have more in common than they don’t.

Each month we will take a look at type or specific stone which we use with our treatments.  This could be a different geological type of stone and the best temperature to use it at, or a shape and how and when to use it. 

This will build your knowledge of the stones in your sets and give you a better understanding on how to use them to their fullest potential.

Like the stones above, we will also take an in depth look at the Crystal family and how these stones can be used within Stone Therapy.

We will look at each stone’s properties both physical and spiritual and how it can be used within your treatments.  

This section of the membership will focus on the health and conditions of your clients.

We will look at how to utilise stones and temperature to help with common conditions and problems.

We will also focus on the pathology of certain conditions, systems, and organs and how they react to the application of temperature.

This information will build up over the months so you will have a library of knowledge to aid the treatment of your clients

LaStone and the education of modern stone therapy all began as Mary Nelson was having more and more injury to her body by doing the work she loved. It was by picking up the stones and using their weight and temperature that she realised they would aid her to have a longer working life.

This is where we will share tips and ways on selfcare on using the stones correctly, treating yourself  - helping to give each and everyone s long and injury free working therapist’s life as possible.

There are two aspects to a therapist’s life - the treatments they give and all that involves with making sure their education is kept up to date a relevant and the business side - how they actually make the money. This is becoming more and more involved with all the different platforms you can market yourself.

Digital and online marketing is becoming more and more involved and knowing the protocols and algorithms that you need to be aware of to make sure you are getting the best from them is a minefield.

This is where we excel as on our board, we have a digital marketing expert that will share with you each month an aspect of marketing to help make your business as profitable as possible.
